Caleb Dorval founded ClearPath Rescue to help small-business owners address QuickBooks records that have become inaccurate, incomplete, or backlogged. The work focuses on defined cleanup, catch-up, and historical payroll bookkeeping reconstruction projects—not a generic promise to fix everything.
Each engagement begins by understanding the condition of the records, the periods involved, the available evidence, and the decision the finished books need to support. The goal is to replace uncertainty with a written scope, controlled work, visible limitations, and a usable handoff.
ClearPath’s tone is deliberately nonjudgmental. Difficult books can result from growth, turnover, system changes, incomplete access, competing priorities, or years of compounding uncertainty. Caleb starts with the records—not assumptions about the owner.

ClearPath is designed to handle a defined bookkeeping-record problem without presenting itself as the client’s tax adviser, attorney, auditor, payroll processor, or ongoing bookkeeper unless a separate service is explicitly agreed.
Written scope before work
Covered periods, accounts, dependencies, exclusions, pricing drivers, and expected deliverables are defined before a project begins.
A documented handoff
The closeout explains completed work, reconciliation status, known limitations, unresolved items, and the records or decisions still needed.
Why the business exists
When ordinary maintenance is no longer enough, the work needs a different operating model.
A backlog or unreliable file can be difficult to hand to a monthly bookkeeper without first separating missing activity, inaccurate entries, unsupported balances, and payroll-related discrepancies. ClearPath approaches that condition as a project: assess it, define it, reconstruct what the evidence supports, review the result, and explain the handoff.
The intended outcome is not a claim of perfection. It is a clearer, supportable record of what was completed, what remains unresolved, and what the owner or another professional should consider next.

These individual credentials support the bookkeeping and QuickBooks knowledge applied to ClearPath’s defined project process; they do not make ClearPath Rescue an Intuit affiliate or expand the company’s published scope and service boundaries.
